Prince Harry<\/strong> and Meghan Markle<\/strong> are expected to return to the UK this summer, and Kate Middleton<\/strong> has made her stance clear about their highly anticipated return. As per a source, the Princess of Wales is not very happy with the idea of them returning. She feels it like a \u201cbetrayal\u201d and believes bringing Markle \u201cback into the fold\u201d will not help the monarchy.<\/p>\n

Kate Middleton had made her thoughts clear about the much-anticipated return of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to the UK this summer. The princess is \u201cnot thrilled\u201d with their comeback. She \u201cfeels there are lines that, once crossed, can\u2019t simply be erased.\u201d<\/p>\n

A source told Closer<\/a> that her remark comes after Harry talked about<\/a> the royal household in his memoir, \u201cSpare.\u201d In the book, he \u201cpublicly\u201d criticised the \u201cinstitution on global platforms.\u201d Moreover, with the arrest of former Prince Andrew, things are already \u201cdelicate.\u201d Hence, Prince William and his wife \u201care dead against the return of the Sussexes.\u201d They believe it \u201cwould cause more instability, not less.\u201d<\/p>\n

But, looking at the current situation, Harry is convinced that the family is facing a \u201cconstitutional crisis.\u201d Also, his wife \u201ccould help steady the ship.\u201d The Duke of Sussex even thinks that a \u201cvacuum\u201d has been created. This is due to\u00a0\u201creputational damage and the lack of working royals in their thirties and forties,\u201d which \u201che believes they could fill it.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cHarry is said to view the current turmoil, particularly the arrest of Andrew, as proof that the monarchy needs renewal, fresh faces and global relevance. He thinks they\u2019ve been proven right, that the institution needs reform, transparency and younger leadership,\u201d said the insider.<\/p>\n

But the Princess of Wales \u201cfeels a real sense of betrayal at the idea of them coming back like nothing happened\u2026 She does not believe bringing Meghan back into the fold could help the monarchy. In her view, it would inflame everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Even William feels that bringing his younger brother back would \u201creopen old divisions at the worst possible time. It would look chaotic.\u201d However, \u201csome advisers think reconciliation would strengthen the institution,\u201d but Waleses \u201cbelieve it would destabilise it.\u201d<\/p>\n
