Youssef Chermiti has left Everton for Rangers.<\/p>\n
The forward completed the move on transfer deadline day<\/a> after talks over a loan deal began last week. They progressed to a permanent move for a fee of around \u00a38m, with a further \u00a32m in add-ons.<\/p>\n His departure brings an end to a miserable two years on Merseyside for Chermiti, who did not score for Everton<\/a>. Opportunities proved hard to come by in his first season as Everton battled relegation amid two points deductions with a threadbare squad. It cost him the first half of the campaign. A second injury in January then left him absent when issues elsewhere could have given him the opportunity to impress David Moyes<\/a>.<\/p>\n At Rangers, the 21-year-old will link up with Kevin Thelwell and Dan Purdy, the recruitment chiefs at Everton who signed him. Both moved to Ibrox this summer.
