Leeds United eased into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for the first time in 23 years as they brushed off in-form Championship side Norwich City to record a 3-0 victory at Elland Road. Here’s how Jeremy Cross scored the players in this fifth-round victory.<\/p>\n

Lucas Perri <\/strong>– Handed a rare start at the expense of Karl Darlow, but had little to do due to Norwich’s lack of attacking threat. Looked bored at times. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sebastiaan Bornauw – <\/strong>An early mistake could have cost his team dear, but he managed to recover. Hauled off at half time. 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jaka Bijol – <\/strong>Commanding at the back for Leeds. Never looked flustered and provided the foundations from which his team could build. Solid from start to finish. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gabriel Gudmundsson – <\/strong>Set up Sean Longstaff’s goal and then helped himself to one before half time. His first ever for Leeds. A bundle of energy. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daniel James – <\/strong>Tried to use his blistering pace to get behind the Norwich defence, and set-up a great chance for Lukas Nmecha, which was wasted. Constant threat when in possession. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ethan Ampadu – <\/strong>Worked tirelessly in midfield in a bid to breathe some life into his side. Got into some promising positions, but was never found. 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sean Longstaff – <\/strong>Produced the game’s one moment of sheer quality to put Leeds ahead with a sublime strike on the turn. A Dennis Bergkamp-esque kind of strike. 8<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wilfried Gnonto – <\/strong>Managed to get a 20th minute goal ruled out due to his handball. Game cried out for him to do something positive, but failed to hit the target with a volley. 5<\/strong><\/p>\n

Joel Piroe – <\/strong>Tried to pull the strings whenever he could in a bid to unlock a blanket defence from Norwich. Hit the crossbar and scored the third on a productive afternoon. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ao Tanaka – <\/strong>Has been out of favour in recent weeks, but given a central midfield role and the chance to impress, only to struggle to make a serious impact. <\/strong>Still did what was asked of him. 5<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lukas Nmecha – <\/strong>Saw a goal ruled out before half time for handball, missed a sitter and blazed high and wide. All before half time. A game to forget for the striker. 4<\/strong><\/p>\n

SUBS<\/strong><\/p>\n

James Justin (46′ for Bornauw) – <\/strong>Slotted in at right back but had little to do. Won’t have a more comfortable half of football than this one. 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jayden Bogle (70′ for James) – <\/strong>Buzzed about in an attempt to make an impression. 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pascal Struijk (70′ for Longstaff) – <\/strong>Went on at left back but didn’t have anything taxing to deal with. 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anton Stach (70′ for Tanaka) – <\/strong>Neat and tidy with the ball in midfield. Impressive little cameo. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sam Byram (87′ for Gudmundsson) – <\/strong>Had little time to make an impact. 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

MANAGER: Daniel Farke <\/strong>– Rang the changes, nine in all, to make it clear where his priorities lay. Then sat in the stands to serve his one game touchline ban, while barking instructions down his mobile phone to the bench. Raised a smile when Sean Longstaff scored a sublime goal.
