After a summer-long saga, Liverpool got their new No. 9 on deadline day, and for the second time in the same summer broke the British transfer record with a \u00a3125 million deal.<\/p>\n

Florian Wirtz<\/a> \u2013 \u00a3116m \u2013 Bayer Leverkusen<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

After 10 years with the club, Kelleher left to become the No. 1 at Brentford<\/a> for an initial \u00a312.5 million \u2013 a further \u00a35.5 million has been negotiated in add-ons.<\/p>\n

A 20 percent sell-on clause held by Kelleher\u2019s former club Ringmahon Rangers means they will receive up to \u00a33.6 million.<\/p>\n

The deal is worth \u00a315 million with Lyon, inclusive of add-ons, and like others represents pure profit on the club\u2019s books as an academy graduate. Liverpool have a 20 percent sell-on clause.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid<\/a>\u2018s desire to have the right-back for the Club World Cup led to a deal being struck between the two clubs worth \u00a38.4 million. He would otherwise have been available on a free transfer.<\/p>\n
