But an accident means Juno will miss the latest film at the Grando, so they hatch a plot to hijack the movie reel and do a top-secret private showing instead.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Meanwhile, a sneak thief called The Magpie has his eye on the Grand Central Cinema too. Can Sylvie and Jem revive Juno&#8217;s ailing spirits by bringing the movies to her? Will they foil The Magpie&#8217;s feather-brained plan in time? <\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Alan grew up in Windy Arbour, Dublin, before moving to Bray and is known for books such as The Riddle of the Disappearing Dickens, The Curious Case of the Irish Yeti, Double Trouble at the Dead Zoo, and the Sam Hannigan series. His novella, Sam Hannigan\u2019s Rock Star Granny, was the World Book Day Book for Ireland in 2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">He received the Annual Children\u2019s Books Ireland Award in September last year, after he was nominated by fellow artists. The prestigious award was presented to him by Laureate na n\u00d3g Patricia Forde, who described him as \u201cone of the most hard-working and generous writers working in Ireland\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">No stranger to Greystones, Alan saw his wonderful book, Molly Malone &amp; Bram Stoker in The Curious Case Of The Irish Yeti, adapted to the stage, when adoring young fans thronged the Whale Theatre, in April. The show was an exciting and hilarious musical mystery adventure for both young audiences and families.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">You can get copies of the Grand Central Cinema Club (O\u2019Brien Pres) on the day, and Alan will sign them for you.
