Will Ferrell<\/a> has played a lot of fictional sports figures, including Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights<\/a>, Chazz Michael Michaels in Blades of Glory and Jackie Moon in Semi-Pro. Now, Ferrell takes on the world of golf in the upcoming 10-episode<\/strong> Netflix series, The Hawk. Netflix has released not just one, not two, but three<\/strong> teasers for The Hawk, because, according to the streamer, one teaser cannot contain him. You can check out the first teaser above. The next two teasers have been released on the official Netflix Instagram accounts and, while they start similarly, they contain different jokes. Check them out below.<\/p>\n

The official logline reads,
\u201cLonnie Hawkins, (Will Ferrell) 2004\u2019s number one golfer, struggles on the back nine of his career to recapture his magic. His body says retire, but his heart says he\u2019s not done yet. His ex-wife and his son Lance, golf\u2019s new golden boy, know he\u2019s through. But with one more major to win to complete golf\u2019s Grand Slam, Lonnie refuses to believe he\u2019s anything other than one stroke away from the greatest comeback in golf history.\u201d<\/p>\n

The press release also makes sure to note: \u201cThis Saturday, keep your eyes on the fairway at\u00a0THE PLAYERS Championship<\/strong>\u2026because Lonnie Hawkins\u2019 biggest fans are waking up\u2014and they\u2019re ready to make some noise.\u201d<\/p>\n

The cast includes Will Ferrell, Molly Shannon, Jimmy Tatro, Fortune Feimster, Luke Wilson, Chris Parnell, Katelyn Tarver and David Hornsby. The executive producers on the show include Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum and Alix Taylor for Gloria Sanchez Productions. Additionally, Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman and Nena Rodrigue are executive producers for T-Street, with Chris Henchy, Harper Steele, David Gordon Green and Andrew Guest.<\/p>\n

Netflix has also released the official poster for the show, which you can check out below. While there isn\u2019t a specific date announced yet, The Hawk is set to start streaming on Netflix sometime this summer<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
