Anyone who loves kitty<\/a> toe beans absolutely must check out this video from Woodland Park Zoo. In it, a set of completely adorable lion cubs go in for their check up. The clips walks us through their appointment, highlighting the important activities. They get their paws printed, their measurements taken, and their nails trimmed.<\/p>\n

Of course, the most important moment comes at the start when we get to see one of the girl’s to die for toe beans. As the text correctly captures, “Toe beans are 15\/10.” You cannot beat these little nubs!<\/p>\n

On-screen text tells us that the buds were born about two months ago! The tinies are absolutely working on their roars, Lion King style. The caption gives us more of the story, “Your Caturday is here! Ilanga\u2019s cubs had a recent checkup and everyone is more adorable than possible. The two cubs are just over 14 and 15 pounds and growing every day!”<\/p>\n

@Kylie knocked it out of the park with, “How is that a wild lion cub is better for a nail trim than every domesticated house cat ever in the history of the earth?” These mini lions deserve a ton of praise after this excursion. @babynursekait took it up a notch, “Hate that I\u2019m a human nurse when lion nurse is apparently an option.”<\/p>\n

@TheAngryHippie nailed our undying love perfectly, “I just wanna kiss his face and tell him he is the most ferocious lion ever!!” It needs to be said: These big cat babies are girls! But otherwise, yes we agree.<\/p>\n

Lion Cubs at the Woodland Park Zoo<\/p>\n

South African lioness Ilanga<\/a> gave birth on January 14 to these two amazing female cubs<\/a>. (You can hear their dad, Tandie, in the video at one point.) It’s been over ten years since a baby lion was born here, giving us, and the staff, something to celebrate.<\/p>\n
