According to Page Six, Janet has been an outspoken supporter of Michael\u2019s daughter, Paris Jackson, 27, who is locked in a legal dispute with her father\u2019s estate.<\/p>\n
The feud is understood to have worsened divisions within the family over how the late King of Pop\u2019s estate has been handled.<\/p>\n
Paris accused executors John Branca and John McClain, who are producers on the biopic, of acting in their own interests, and wasting resources on legal fees and risky investments. <\/p>\n
Family insiders told Page Six that Jermaine believed the film would offer the family their biggest opportunity to reconnect with fans since Michael\u2019s death in 2009.<\/p>\n
The outlet reported he also has the support of many of the Jackson family who were involved in the film at multiple levels.<\/p>\n
\u201cEverybody in that room knows that Michael was lightning in a bottle,\u201d a source said. <\/p>\n
\u201cYou can\u2019t recreate him. But you can remind the world what he meant.\u201d<\/p>\n
One family member at the screening reportedly announced: \u201cThis isn\u2019t just about Michael. It\u2019s about us.<\/p>\n
