{"id":381366,"date":"2026-03-12T13:20:14","date_gmt":"2026-03-12T13:20:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/381366\/"},"modified":"2026-03-12T13:20:14","modified_gmt":"2026-03-12T13:20:14","slug":"dhurandhar-gets-worldwide-cinema-re-release-ahead-of-sequels-launch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/381366\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Dhurandhar&#8217; Gets Worldwide Cinema Re-Release Ahead Of Sequel&#8217;s Launch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIndian box office hit <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/dhurandhar\/\" id=\"auto-tag_dhurandhar\" data-tag=\"dhurandhar\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dhurandhar<\/a> is getting a rare international re-release tomorrow ahead of its sequel landing next week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWith Dhurandhar the Revenge premiering on March 19, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/jio-studios\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jio-studios\" data-tag=\"jio-studios\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jio Studios<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/b62-studios\/\" id=\"auto-tag_b62-studios\" data-tag=\"b62-studios\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">B62 Studios<\/a> are taking the first film in the spy thriller pic franchise back into 500 screens worldwide, including 250 across <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/india\/\" id=\"auto-tag_india\" data-tag=\"india\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">India<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn North America, the pic will return to theaters in 185 screens.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tInternational re-releases of Hindi movies are very rare, marking what Dhurandhar\u2018s distributors believe to be significant global demand for the title.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDhurandhar the Revenge, meanwhile, is getting a Wednesday, March 18 premiere across the U.S. and Canada, a day ahead of its global release. Screenings will primarily take place on large-format screens with luxury seating, which distributors say are \u201cformats typically reserved for major Hollywood event films.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe film stars <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/ranveer-singh\/\" id=\"auto-tag_ranveer-singh\" data-tag=\"ranveer-singh\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ranveer Singh<\/a> as Hamza Ali Mazari, whose real identity is Jaskirat Singh Rangi,\u00a0as he pursues his undercover operation within Pakistan\u2019s criminal underworld. Arjun Rampal,\u00a0Sanjay Dutt and\u00a0R. Madhavan are also among an ensemble cast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tJio Studios and B62 Studios have made the sequel, which is directed and produced by Aditya Dhar. Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar are also producing, with the worldwide release on March 19 planned with Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada-language versions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDhurandhar\u00a0was India\u2019s highest-grossing film of 2025 with box office of $105.25M (\u20b99.5B).
