\n\tThings aren\u2019t going swimmingly for Phoebe Dynevor<\/a> in the trailer<\/a> for Netflix<\/a>\u2018s Thrash. <\/p>\n

\n\tFilmmaker Tommy Wirkola<\/a>\u2018s thriller movie debuts on the streaming service April 10. Whitney Peak<\/a>, Djimon Hounsou<\/a>, Matt Nable, Andrew Lees, Alyla Browne, Stacy Clausen, Elijah Ungvary and Dante Ubaldi round out the cast. <\/p>\n

\n\tThrash focuses on a coastal town that gets ravaged by a Category 5 storm, leading to the arrival of hungry sharks. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSharks on the loose in the Category 5 storm,\u201d Hounsou says in the film\u2019s trailer. \u201cLet\u2019s move!\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tLater, Dynevor\u2019s pregnant character declares about her soon-to-arrive progeny, \u201cI am not going to have him die before he takes his first breath.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tWirkola \u2014 known for helming such features as Dead Snow, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters and Violent Night \u2014 directed the project from his own script. He produces alongside Adam McKay<\/a> and Kevin Messick.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe project was first announced in 2024<\/a> as being in the works at Sony Pictures<\/a> with the title Beneath the Storm before the name shifted a year later to Shiver<\/a>. Earlier this year, news broke that the film was untitled and would move to a Netflix launch<\/a> after its removal from the Sony calendar.<\/p>\n

\n\tDynevor appeared in the 2025 features Inheritance and Anniversary. The actress is also known for the Netflix film Fair Play, along with such series as Younger and Bridgerton. <\/p>\n

\n\tDuring an interview with Collider<\/a>, Dynevor teased what viewers can expect from Thrash. \u201cI\u2019m so excited about this movie,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cIt\u2019s big. It\u2019s sharks. It\u2019s hurricanes.
