Stream Now on Season 2 of\u00a0The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys<\/a>\u00a0is officially over \u2014 and so are\u00a0Calah Jackson<\/a> and Steven McBee Jr.<\/a><\/p>\n That became clear during the September 1 finale when Calah decided not to attend Jesse McBee<\/a> and Alli Ventresca<\/a>\u2019s wedding, despite Steven inviting her as his plus-one.\u00a0<\/p>\n The eldest of the McBee brothers figured Calah had \u201cchanged her mind at the last minute\u201d when call after call to her went unanswered, and while he tearfully told producers, “I just cannot imagine losing my best friend,” he also called\u00a0the debacle \u201cthe final straw\u201d of their relationship.<\/p>\n Calah, meanwhile, explained her decision to skip the wedding in a confessional interview: “Our relationship has been a rollercoaster ride, and I need peace in my life. I don\u2019t want any more drama. So, today was not an easy decision for me, but it\u2019s time to end this and jump off the crazy train.”<\/p>\n Cameras then captured\u00a0Calah removing her mic and leaving her and Steven’s once-shared home for good. At the end of the episode, it was reported that the couple hadn\u2019t seen one another since December 2024, \u201cbut they continue to text weekly.\u201d<\/p>\n What Calah Jackson’s been up to since McBee Dynasty Season 2 ended<\/p>\n The Texan hasn\u2019t rested since filming ended, whether heading to L.A. for a movie premiere and eating at the Chateau Marmont<\/a> \u2014 where there has been much ado for the cast of The Valley<\/a> \u2014 or taking her pup, Rocko, to Aspen, Colorado<\/a>, for a new Kemo Sabe hat.\u00a0<\/p>\n The frequent flyer is now back in the Lone Star state and, as seen in several posts on Instagram<\/a> in recent weeks, she is showcasing art at Samuel Lynne Galleries in Dallas as \u201cthe newest face on [their] social media.\u201d So far, she has highlighted the works of popular artists such as JD Miller, photographer Tyler Shields, plus Favio Landeira and Phil Luangrath.\u00a0<\/p>\n Related: <\/b>Kristi McBee Weighs in on Claim that Calah is a \u201cGold Digger\u201d: \u201cReally Frustrated\u201d<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n In an August 18 interview with Decider<\/a>, Calah also said, \u201cI\u2019ve been really focused on my personal growth and getting back to a good place \u2026 I\u2019m the happiest I\u2019ve been in a really, really long time. I\u2019m just riding the wave and focusing on myself right now.\u201d<\/p>\n As far as her final split from Steven, Calah cited the fact that her ex was dealing with\u00a0the FBI investigation against his father<\/a>\u00a0Steven McBee Sr<\/a>., as well as her ongoing grief over the passing of her sister.<\/p>\n \u201cI tried my best to help him through his ordeal, but that care and consideration wasn\u2019t reciprocated,\u201d Calah told the outlet. \u201cI think that\u2019s where things really started going downhill for us.\u201d<\/p>\n Where Steven McBee and Calah Jackson stand after Season 2<\/p>\n Steven, for his part, told\u00a0The Daily Dish in a post-season 2 interview that he and Calah haven’t spoken for several months.\u00a0<\/p>\n “I honestly think it\u2019s best that way,” Steven Jr. said. “I still care about her, but watching everything play back is hard, and brings back the emotions of that time period so it\u2019d be tough to still continue to talk in any capacity while watching episodes play back and not feel emotionally charged. I wish her nothing but the absolute best and for all of the success in her life.
