It is understood that Mr \u00d3 Tuairisg, who was married and a father of three young children, died after a sudden and unexpected medical complication. <\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Communities in the east of Galway city and beyond have paid tribute to Diarmuid, with Councillor Shane Forde sharing his deepest condolences to his wife and three children.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">He said: \u201cI first met Diarmuid \u00d3 Tuairisg about 15 years ago when he was working behind the bar in Crowes in Bohermore. He was always someone who was kind, courteous and most definitely a people&#8217;s person.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">\u201cOver the last few years, Diarmuid was a Garda based in Millstreet in Galway and we would meet each other at many events. He was always friendly and approachable and carried out his duties as a Garda to the highest possible standard. Both the communities of Inverin and Castlegar are deeply saddened by the loss of Diarmuid and my condolences to his wife Tara, his young children, both families and his Garda colleagues from Galway.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Meanwhile a tribute from the Headford village community reads: \u201cAs a parish community we offer our sincere sympathies to the family, friends and relatives of Diarmuid \u00d3 Tuairisg, The Lane, Killoughter, Castlegar, Galway \/ Inverin, Galway and formerly of Eallagh Estate, Headford.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">\u201cOur thoughts and prayers are with his wife Tara and their three young children Isabelle, Sadie and Blake and all the O&#8217;Tuairisg and Murphy families.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">\u201cAr dheis D\u00e9 go raibh a anam d\u00edlis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">The RIP notice reads: \u201cSadly missed by his loving wife Tara, (nee Murphy), his daughters Isabelle and Sadie, and his son Blake, his parents, John and Hannah \u00d3 Tuairisg, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tom and Mary Murphy (Killoughter), his sister, Aislinn and her Fianc\u00e9 Kieran, his brothers, Padraig Sean and his Fianc\u00e9e Lisa, and Fiachara, his sisters-in-law, Karen and her husband Rynal, Melaine and her husband Tom, and Nicola, his nieces, nephews, Aunts, uncles, relatives, neighbours, friends, and Colleagues. A true gentleman who will be sadly missed and forever remembered.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Mr \u00d3 Tuairisg will be peposing at the Holy Family, Funeral Home, Mervue, on Tuesday evening September 2 from 5pm, removal at 6.30pm to his home.
