Mr Hanly is guiding at \u20ac750,000.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is absolutely fabulous land. It is not zoned as we speak but it has enormous potential on the outskirts of Limerick city &#8211; it is within two miles of the city,\u201d said Mr Hanly.<\/p>\n<p>The vastly-experienced auctioneer describes Ballysheedy as one of the most desirable addresses in Limerick.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou only need to see the houses built in the surrounding area. You have the village, Limerick Golf Club &#8211; it is so close to everything,\u201d said Mr Hanly.<\/p>\n<p>If the land was rezoned in the future with the possibility of a housing estate or one-off homes the value of the land would be a multiple of what it is today. As Kevin Costner said in the film Field of Dreams, \u2018If you build it they will come\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Farm Leader has oft-reported in recent years the increase in business people purchasing land as it is seen as a safe and secure investment.
