With that, it is now the thinnest and the lightest phone in the segment. Despite that, it is very durable, as we have seen in extreme torture tests. However, the phone’s paint seems to have issues.

Lately, many Galaxy Z Fold 7 users have been complaining that the phone’s paint is chipping away. On Reddit, one such user reports that since they purchased the device, they never dropped it or put it in a pocket with anything else in it. Despite that, its paint near the power/side button has chipped away, as you can see in the image below.

Many other Galaxy Z Fold 7 users commented on it, saying that their Galaxy Z Fold 7 is suffering from the same issue. The problem isn’t limited to a specific color, as people having units with different colors are facing the issue.

Galaxy Z Fold 6 had the same issue

A few Galaxy Z Fold 6 users had also encountered the same problem, and Samsung said that a poorly grounded charger could cause the paint to chip away. However, one of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 users facing this issue is using Samsung’s official 25W charger. It suggests that either Samsung’s chargers are also faulty or that the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s paint has issues.

The same user also visited a Samsung service centre about the problem. The staff there forwarded the issue to Samsung and the brand hasn’t provided a reply yet. Whatever the case, after spending $2,000 on a premium phone, people don’t expect to see such problems. We hope that Samsung is taking this issue seriously and resolves it immediately.

Samsung’s latest phone with a book-style foldable display, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, brings a massive design upgrade…

[257
18,19844,19,17,279,82
0":"post-38563","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-mobile","8":"tag-eire","9":"tag-galaxy-z-fold-7","10":"tag-ie","11":"tag-ireland","12":"tag-mobile","13":"tag-technology
["GET
