{"id":387205,"date":"2026-03-16T01:34:10","date_gmt":"2026-03-16T01:34:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/387205\/"},"modified":"2026-03-16T01:34:10","modified_gmt":"2026-03-16T01:34:10","slug":"office-of-tangible-space-transforms-brooklyn-warehouse-into-car-part-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/387205\/","title":{"rendered":"Office of Tangible Space transforms Brooklyn warehouse into Car Part Time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brooklyn studio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/tag\/office-of-tangible-space\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Office of Tangible Space<\/a> has converted a former warehouse in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/tag\/brooklyn\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Brooklyn<\/a>, USA, into a community hub that provides &#8220;a new kind of venue for automotive culture&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In Brooklyn&#8217;s East Williamsburg neighbourhood, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carparttime.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Car Part Time<\/a> is housed within a 2,000-square-foot (186-square-metre) hangar that <a href=\"https:\/\/tangible.space\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Office of Tangible Space<\/a> (OTS) has reimagined as both a car showroom and a social hub.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2305773 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/car-part-time_office-of-tangible-space_dezeen_2364_col_16-852x609.jpg\" alt=\"Car showroom and coworking space with a full-height mustard yellow curtain\" width=\"2364\" height=\"1689\"   loading=\"lazy\"\/>At Car Part Time, a mustard yellow curtain softens the concrete walls and flooring<\/p>\n<p>A rotating display of vintage automobiles \u2013 which are all for sale from the licensed dealers \u2013 sits amongst furniture for co-working, gathering and event programming.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;OTS has transformed the industrial space into a social environment through carefully layered materials, vintage lighting, and moments of tactile detail referencing automotive design,&#8221;
