\n\tRow K<\/a> Entertainment has acquired U.S. distribution rights to \u201cMister,\u201d an upcoming action-comedy with Walton Goggins<\/a> and Chlo\u00eb Grace Moretz.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film marks the directorial debut of legendary second unit and action director Wade Eastwood, whose credits include \u201cMission: Impossible \u2013 Final Reckoning\u201d and \u201cJumanji: The Next Level.\u201d It was written by Nicki Cortese and follows a man (Goggins) who wakes up in a strange house covered in blood and comes to realize his true identity while fighting off contract killers from his past, which includes everyone from his exes to his best friend. To get out, he teams up with his estranged daughter (Moretz), who has also ended up in the family business. In order to survive, they will need to repair their fractured relationship.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film was first announced at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. Principal photography is currently underway in Madrid and the Canary Islands. \u201cMister\u201d is slated for a wide theatrical release in 2027.<\/p>\n

\n\tGoggins recently starred in the third season of \u201cThe White Lotus\u201d and on Amazon\u2019s hit \u201cFallout.\u201d He also appeared in \u201cJustified\u201d and \u201cThe Hateful Eight.\u201d Moretz is best known for her work in the \u201cKick-Ass\u201d films and has also starred in \u201cHugo,\u201d \u201cGreta\u201d and \u201cThe Equalizer.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tLaunched in 2025, Row K has made several acquisitions, including \u201cCliffhanger,\u201d directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and starring Pierce Brosnan and Lily James; and \u201cCharlie Harper,\u201d directed by Tom Dean and Mac Eldridge and starring Nick Robinson and Emilia Jones. In January, it released Gus Van Sant\u2019s \u201cDead Man\u2019s Wire\u201d starring Bill Skarsg\u00e5rd, Dacre Montgomery, Colman Domingo and Al Pacino.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201c\u2019Mister\u2019 is a sharp, high-concept action-comedy that immediately stood out to us,\u201d said Row K Co-Chairmen Christopher Woodrow and Raj Singh. \u201cWade Eastwood brings decades of world-class action experience to his directorial debut, and Walton Goggins will deliver a performance that is as unpredictable as it is compelling. This film exemplifies the kind of star-driven, big-screen entertainment we\u2019re building Row K around, and it\u2019s a powerful addition to our growing slate.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCortese and Wayne Marc Godfrey will produce and finance for Bright White Light, alongside Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, producing for Thunder Road. Goggins is also producing. Henry Braham is attached as cinematographer, and Nigel Phelps as production designer. Black Bear is selling international rights to the film, and CAA negotiated the deal with Row K. Executive producers include Sophie Meyer, Will Flynn, Chase Veragari, and Ibrahim Mohammed.<\/p>\n

\n\tGoggins is represented by CAA and Darris Hatch Management. Moretz is represented by CAA and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
