Carr confessed to being partial to McDonald\u2019s, but explained he favours the fast food chain because he knows what to expect, wherever he is in the world.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cWhen travelling I love a McDonald\u2019s. I love them…<\/p>\n
\u201cWell, because their hygiene system is the same globally. So sometimes if you\u2019re somewhere, you don\u2019t know what the good restaurant is in this crazy Eastern European town you find yourself in… You go, \u2018Well, I know McDonald\u2019s will be fine. I know I\u2019ll be fine.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
But the comic doesn\u2019t treat himself too often.<\/p>\n
\u201cOh, like once every couple of weeks, I guess. Something like that. That sounds reasonable. The poison\u2019s in the dose, I think with all of these things.\u201d<\/p>\n
Elsewhere on the podcast, Carr offered a \u201cspicy take\u201d on legalising drugs, explaining he thinks they should be banned for younger people but \u201cmandatory\u201d for the over 50s.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cI\u2019ve got a spicy take on drugs. Here\u2019s my take on drugs, like, certainly for marijuana… weed I think should be illegal for the under 30s. I think it\u2019s a performance-inhibiting drug. I think especially so many young men that are just sitting in basements smoking weed and they\u2019re doing nothing…<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd it robs people of their ambition in the crucial years. I think it should be legal 30 to 50. And then I think over 50 mandatory\u2026 Well because old men are taking all the cash.
