{"id":391716,"date":"2026-03-18T16:40:10","date_gmt":"2026-03-18T16:40:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/391716\/"},"modified":"2026-03-18T16:40:10","modified_gmt":"2026-03-18T16:40:10","slug":"watch-bear-emerges-behind-tv-reporter-during-live-broadcast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/391716\/","title":{"rendered":"Watch: Bear emerges behind TV reporter during live broadcast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>March 18 (UPI) &#8212; A TV news reporter was delivering a live segment about a bear encounter in California when a bear wandered into the camera frame behind her.<\/p>\n<p>Erin Myers, a reporter<a href=\"https:\/\/ktla.com\/news\/local-news\/bear-wanders-into-ktla-reporters-live-shot-while-covering-monrovia-attack\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> for KTLA-TV,<\/a> was broadcasting live from a Monrovia neighborhood on Sunday morning and teasing an upcoming story about bear encounters in the area when a bruin emerged from next to a garage and a parked trailer.\n<\/p>\n<p>KTLA&#8217;s Megan Telles spotted the bear and tossed the broadcast back to Myers, who monitored the animal from a safe distance.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You can see the bear actually walking into the trap, or no, it was going to, but now it&#8217;s walking out,&#8221; Myers says in the footage.<\/p>\n<p>Myers later said it was the second time she had been interrupted by a bear during live broadcast.<\/p>\n<p>The trap had been set for a bear believed to be living underneath a neighborhood home.
