Casualty’s sexual assault storyline is going to take another dark turn this weekend, as Cam Mickelthwaite is left fighting for his life following a shock attack.<\/p>\n

Cam, who was the victim of abuse at the hands of Jamie Cleveland,<\/a> has tried to support Siobhan McKenzie after she was raped by Chris Banfield<\/a>. She asked Flynn Byron to hurt Chris<\/a>, but Cam managed to convince her that violence isn’t the answer.<\/p>\n

But the end of the episode<\/a> hinted that Cam actually wanted to take matters into his own hands, having found Chris’ address.<\/p>\n

In tomorrow’s episode, Cam doesn’t turn up for his shift and Siobhan is worried, before she gets distracted by a patient. Flynn later suggests to her that Cam may have revenge on his mind.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Indie Jankowski is still reeling from her breakup with Cam, but has to put it to the side to deal with a crashed bus, which has its upper deck torn open by the roof of a tunnel.<\/p>\n

Indie and Teddy Gowan are then called back to a low-priority job that Iain and Jacob had to be diverted from earlier. Once they get there they find Cam, covered in blood.<\/p>\n

They rush him to hospital as he deteriorates, but will they be able to save him?<\/p>\n

Casualty<\/strong> airs on Saturday nights on BBC One and now streams first on BBC iPlayer, where episodes are released at 6am on the day of transmission.<\/strong><\/p>\n
