\n\tA very different version of William Shakespeare showed up in the first episode of \u201cSNL U.K,\u201d appearing in a sketch that took comic aim at the biggest British film from this year\u2019s awards season.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn \u201cSNL U.K.\u2019s\u201d version of \u201cHamnet<\/a>,\u201d an increasingly Gen-Z hipster Bard returns home from staging plays in London to his doting wife (played by Tina Fey) and family.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDost thou not think I appear changed?\u201d he asks on his first time back home. \u201cI got a cunty little earring!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLater returns to the family home see him on an electric scooter, brandishing a tote bag saying \u2018Team Anne Boleyn,\u2019 and proudly showing off \u201cme slutty little chain.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLondon hath changed thee,\u201d Fey\u2019s Agnes Hathaway asserts. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThou art in Stratford upon Avon, and I\u2019ve been in London upon ketamine,\u201d says Shakespeare. \u201cI\u2019m like Charlie Xcx, sorry, Charlie 10 100 10. I\u2019m in my glow up era, honey.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn keeping with the plot of the film, Hamnet is seen falling ill, having \u201ctaken the powder\u201d from a new purse. But as Shakespeare notes: \u201cHe\u2019ll be fine. Tis but a K-hole.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing the \u201cHamnet\u201d sketch, \u201cSNL U.K.\u201d poked fun at another beloved British institution in a skit in which a Paddington<\/a> Bear immersive experience sees an actual bear let loose upon guests. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThat was amazing. I\u2019ve lost half my face,\u201d says one. \u201cI always thought that three kids was a bit too many, and now I\u2019ve got the optimum amount \u2026 none!,\u201d adds another. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIn retrospect, maybe hot glue-gunning the hat to the bear\u2019s head may have made it more angry,\u201d explains Fay\u2019s experience organiser. \u201cI\u2019m taking it to Broadway regardless\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tStudiocanal, which has the rights to Paddington Bear and has its very own Paddington experience in London, has already sued the makers of comedy show \u201cSpitting Image\u201d over their depiction of the bear as a drug-taking, foul-mouthed podcast host.
