Japan\u2019s Nikkei rose by 2.9 per cent, while the S&amp;P BSE Sensex in India was almost 2 per cent higher and Hong Kong\u2019s Hang Seng was just under 1 per cent up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \">European markets also rose in early trading.
