Whether it’s surprise appearances from major icons, jaw-dropping performances, or celebs going off-script, the Junos have delivered a lot more than just awards. In spirit of the 55th annual Juno Awards being right around the corner, let’s take a look at some of the most iconic moments in Junos history:1. Alanis Morissette<\/a> delivers a wild parody moment at the 2004 Juno Awards. Morissette poked fun<\/a> at the Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show controversy in the wildest way possible by wearing a **** bodysuit with fake pubic hair and nipples.\"A2. Shania Twain’s iconic bedazzled hockey look at the 2003 Junos. Only Shania could turn a hockey jersey into a campy pop star fashion statement.\"Singer<\/p>\n

4. Justin Bieber<\/a> and Drake bring peak “Bieber Fever” chaos to the 2010 Junos. Their 2010 performance of “Baby” was pure early 2010s energy, hair swoop and all. To this day, this was Justin’s only Junos appearance.\"Group<\/p>\n

5. Speaking of Drake, the legendary rapper hosted<\/a> the following Junos in 2011. Despite being up for 6 awards, he still went home empty-handed (he was robbed, IMO). He did, however, deliver one of the most memorable speeches<\/a> in Junos history by rapping, stirring up tons of laughs, and even serenading Shania Twain<\/a>.\"A<\/p>\n

8. Pierre Trudeau makes a surprise appearance at the 1981 Junos to induct Joni Mitchell into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. And this year, Mitchell is set to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.\"Two<\/p>\n

9. Aysanabee became the first Indigenous artist to win both Songwriter and Alternative Album of the Year at the 2024 Junos. His speech had everyone emotional as he shared: “I grew up in a trailer in Northern Ontario without electricity or running water, and now I\u2019m here.”\"Person<\/p>\n
