{"id":406324,"date":"2026-03-27T06:56:10","date_gmt":"2026-03-27T06:56:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/406324\/"},"modified":"2026-03-27T06:56:10","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T06:56:10","slug":"three-car-break-ins-reported-to-gardai-in-one-day-at-limerick-villages","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/406324\/","title":{"rendered":"Three car break-ins reported to garda\u00ed in one day at Limerick villages"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Three vehicles were broken into over the course of one day in the villages of Annacotty and Patrickswell, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.limerickleader.ie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Limerick<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Michelle O\u2019Halloran, Crime Prevention Sergeant of Henry Street garda station, recounted on March 22, Sunday: \u201cA male driver parked his car outside a local business.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen he returned a short time later, he found the doors open and a male sitting in the driver\u2019s seat attempting to start the vehicle.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The sergeant said: \u201cthe suspect managed to start the car \u2014 a white 2016 Toyota Aqua \u2014 and drove off.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ MORE:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.limerickleader.ie\/news\/health\/2041903\/you-re-dealing-with-family-at-chaotic-scenes-meet-the-limerick-woman-saving-lives.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">&#8216;You&#8217;re dealing with family at chaotic scenes&#8217; &#8211; Meet the Limerick woman saving lives<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the time of interview with Sergeant O\u2019Halloran, the vehicle remains unrecovered.<\/p>\n<p>On the same night in Annacotty, March 22, a woman reported her white 2013 Nissan March as stolen at approximately 8:30pm.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sergeant O\u2019Halloran said: \u201cIt is believed the car was left unlocked. The vehicle has since been recovered.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier at 3.30pm on March 22, \u201ctwo males opened the unlocked driver\u2019s door of a vehicle parked at Barnakyle, Patrickswell.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They took a wallet from inside the vehicle.
