The one time Late Late Show host will grace Irish TV screens on Friday night as he returns to the studio\"Broadcaster<\/p>\n

Veteran broadcaster Pat Kenny will return to the Late Late Show this evening, alongside a leading BBC journalist, an iconic Irish actor, a beloved comedian, and a 2FM<\/a> presenter in another star studded episode.<\/p>\n

Fresh from winning the Lifetime Achievement award at the 2026 IFTA ceremony, actor Ciar\u00e1n Hinds <\/a>will be live in the Late Late Show studio on Friday.<\/p>\n

Known for his roles in classics such as Belfast, Munich, Road to Perdition and There will be Blood, Hinds is regarded as one of Ireland\u2019s most talented movie stars. As his career continues to go from strength to strength, he will chat about growing up in Belfast, his friendship with Liam Neeson and his latest projects.<\/p>\n

BBC<\/a> News Chief Presenter Caitr\u00edona Perry will join Patrick to talk about life in Washington DC and her role in covering all the major US news stories during President Trump\u2019s second administration. She\u2019ll talk about the US-Israel war with Iran, its impact on Trump\u2019s approval rating, and how Taoiseach Miche\u00e1l Martin fared in the Oval Office on St Patrick’s Day.<\/p>\n

For the first time since becoming the presenter of The Late Late Show in September 2023, Patrick Kielty<\/a> will interview one of his predecessors.<\/p>\n

Pat Kenny<\/a> will be on the couch to talk about his recent move from daily radio to the weekend slot with Newstalk. He will reflect on his decades of experience in broadcasting as he confirms that at 78 years of age, he has no plans to slow down.<\/p>\n

Comedian Kevin McGahern<\/a> will also drop by to talk about fronting the newest series of Cheap European Homes with Maggie Molloy and James Kavanagh and life as a father of two. He will also recreate his viral opening monologue from the IFTA Awards 2026, complete with his trusty bodhr\u00e1n.<\/p>\n

As she prepares to make her return to the airwaves 2FM presenter Doireann Garrihy will also be in studio. The new mum will chat about the joys of motherhood since welcoming baby Rosie. She will also reveal her plans to bring her hit podcast on the road and why she is excited to get back to work.<\/p>\n

Plus, there will be music from award-winning singer Freya Ridings as she performs her new single \u201cI Have Always Loved You.\u201d<\/p>\n
