If you’re looking for new movies to watch at home this month, then there are plenty of flicks arriving on streaming over the next few weeks.<\/p>\n

Fans have a lot to look forward to, including an “exceptional” new crime thriller starring Denzel Washington and a recent horror hit.<\/p>\n

Here, Digital Spy<\/strong> rounds up five you must stream in September.<\/p>\n

Director Spike Lee’s latest joint is a remake of Akira Kurosawa’s High and Low, and sees Denzel Washington play a music mogul who faces a moral dilemma while being the target of a ransom plot.<\/p>\n

Highest 2 Lowest also features American Fiction’s Jeffrey Wright and rapper ASAP Rocky, and has attracted acclaim since its premiere<\/a> earlier this year \u2013 sitting at a 89% fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

RogerEbert.com<\/a> called it “an exceptional piece of personal filmmaking”, and you can catch it when it finally drops on Apple TV+<\/a> later this week.<\/p>\n

Nosferatu<\/p>\n

We called Robert Eggers’s Nosferatu “the best horror movie” of last year<\/a> \u2013 and we weren’t the only ones to laud the film, which has attracted an 84% fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Gothic hit tells the classic tale of the vampire infatuated by a young woman, and is a remake of the classic 1922 German silent film.<\/p>\n

Alongside leads Bill Skarsg\u00e5rd and Lily-Rose Depp, Nosferatu also features performances by Nicholas Hoult, Emma Corrin, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Willem Dafoe, and is definitely one to watch out for as the cold winter nights draw in.<\/p>\n

Dangerous Animals<\/p>\n

This recent survival horror movie follows a surfer who is kidnapped by a serial killer with an obsession with sharks, and must race to escape as she faces being fed to the creatures.<\/p>\n

Dangerous Animals comes from director Sean Byrne, and stars the likes of Hassie Harrison, Jai Courtney, Josh Heuston and Ella Newton.<\/p>\n

It drew acclaim, with an impressive 86% fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>, with Digital Spy<\/strong><\/a> calling it “quite unlike any serial killer horror you’ve seen” in our four-star review.<\/p>\n

Streaming on <\/strong>MGM+<\/strong><\/a> from 12 September.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Netflix<\/p>\n

French Lover<\/p>\n

Lupin’s Omar Sy stars in this upcoming Netflix<\/a> rom-com, which follows a jaded actor who crosses paths with a waitress down on her luck. Together, they begin a love story \u2013 though whether it survives the glare of the spotlight around him remains to be seen.<\/p>\n

French Lover also stars Sara Giraudeau and comes from director Lisa-Nina Rives, who has worked as a second unit director on Lupin.<\/p>\n

Expect a “sincere”, “quirky” and “heartfelt” romance (according to Netflix) that will warm you up as the autumn blues settle in.<\/p>\n

Apple TV+<\/p>\n

All of You<\/p>\n

This Apple TV+ romance, which is described as a “stirring new-futuristic drama”, stars Ted Lasso’s Brett Goldstein and 28 Weeks Later’s Imogen Poots as two friends who start to question whether their bond is more than platonic.<\/p>\n

The movie focuses on Simon and Laura, the latter of whom “takes a test that finds her soulmate despite years of unspoken feelings between them” \u2013 though as their paths cross over the years, “neither can deny the feeling that they\u2019ve missed out on a life together”.<\/p>\n

Co-written by Goldstein and director William Bridges, All of You<\/a> also features performances by Jenna Coleman, Zawe Ashton, Steven Cree, and \u00c9va Magyar, and sits at an impressive 83% fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>, with Cool Girl Critiques<\/a> calling it a “tender and heartbreaking portrait of love”.<\/p>\n
