While we wait for the Jordan Peele<\/strong>-produced, Justin Tipping-directed horror movie HIM<\/a> to release in theaters this month, we\u2019ve unfortunately learned that Peele\u2019s own fourth movie has been bumped off the Universal release calendar. The untitled film had been set for theatrical release on October 23, 2026<\/strong>, but Variety<\/a> reports this week that that\u2019s no longer the plan.<\/p>\n

The website reports, \u201cPeele is currently at work on the film, which has yet to roll cameras, an individual familiar with the project told\u00a0Variety.\u201d Stay tuned for more as we learn it.<\/p>\n

As you may recall, the original date for Peele\u2019s fourth movie when it was first announced was December 25, 2024, a date that was ultimately occupied by Robert Eggers\u2019 Nosferatu.<\/p>\n

Jordan Peele\u00a0burst onto the filmmaking scene back in 2017 with critical acclaim, box office success, and even a huge win at the Academy Awards, making\u00a0Get Out\u00a0one of the most promising debut features in the history of the horror genre. Peele proved he was the real deal with\u00a0Us\u00a0in 2019 and later\u00a0Nope in 2022, so his fourth movie is a hotly anticipated project.<\/p>\n

At this time we have no idea what to expect from Jordan Peele\u2019s fourth movie, but we\u2019re holding out hope that it will once again see Peele playing around in the horror space.<\/p>\n

In addition to his directing work, Jordan Peele has spent the past several years producing a handful of projects. Those projects include the films\u00a0BlacKkKlansman,\u00a0Candyman\u00a0(2021), and\u00a0Wendell & Wild, as well as the TV shows \u201cThe Twilight Zone\u201d and \u201cLovecraft Country.\u201d<\/p>\n
