After taking off from runway 27R, the aircraft reached its cruising altitude of 36,000 feet as it transitioned over Irish airspace.<\/p>\n<p>Just as the crew prepared to begin the transatlantic crossing, they contacted Air Traffic Control (ATC) to report a medical situation involving a passenger or crew member. To ensure the individual received immediate care, the pilots executed a U-turn over Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Arrival in Dublin<\/p>\n<p>The aircraft touched down safely on <a href=\"https:\/\/cam.airlive.net\/dub\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dublin<\/a>\u2019s runway 28L at approximately 15:44 local time, roughly one hour and 50 minutes after its initial departure from London then taxied to gate 305.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency medical services met the aircraft upon arrival to assist the person in distress.<\/p>\n<p>Next Steps for Passengers<\/p>\n<p>The airline has confirmed that the flight is still intended to reach its final destination in <a href=\"https:\/\/cam.airlive.net\/jfk\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New York<\/a> today.
