Garda\u00ed and emergency services were at the scene of a collision in Letterkenny, Co Donegal, on Friday shortly after 3pm.<\/p>\n
The incident, involving a pedestrian and a lorry, happened at Station Roundabout, Port Road.<\/p>\n
The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 40s, was seriously injured.<\/p>\n
She taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment, and died on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are appealing for witnesses of the fatal crash to contact them.<\/p>\n
In a separate crash in Dublin, a pedestrian, woman aged in her 40s, was seriously injured after she was struck by a bus.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed were at the scene of a serious crash involving a bus and a pedestrian shortly after 10am on Monday morning.<\/p>\n
The incident happened on the junction of Terenure Cross in Terenue, Dublin 6W.<\/p>\n
The woman was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.<\/p>\n
No other injuries were reported, a Garda spokesperson said.<\/p>\n
The road remains closed at this time, as the technical examination of the scene is being carried out by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.<\/p>\n
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling in the area between 10am and 10.30am on Monday morning are asked to make this available to garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, garda\u00ed issued an appeal in relation to another fatal collision in Dublin in which an elderly woman was hit by a bus.<\/p>\n
They are appealing for witnesses following the fatal incident at the junction of Main Street and Bath Place, Blackrock, Co. Dublin on Wednesday March 25.<\/p>\n
\u201cShortly before 1.10pm garda\u00ed and emergency services responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a bus and a pedestrian. A female pedestrian, aged in her 80s, was conveyed to St. Vincent\u2019s University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries,\u201d a spokesperson said.<\/p>\n
She died from her injuries on Friday morning. The Coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination was being arranged.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.<\/p>\n
Road users with camera footage, including dash-cam, who were in the area of Main Street and Bath Place, Blackrock, Co. Dublin on Wednesday March 25 between 12.45pm and 1.15pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Also on Saturday gardai issued an appeal for witnesses to a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the R392 in Ballymahon, Co. Longford shortly after midnight on Sunday March 29.<\/p>\n
A man in his 30s, the sole occupant of the car, was taken to Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore for treatment of injuries. He passed away in hospital on Friday.<\/p>\n
