UPDATE:<\/strong> A newly released affidavit says a Chattanooga pharmacist had sexual encounters with roughly 20 to 30 women in exchange for prescriptions or controlled substances, describing the activity as part of his \u201csexual fantasies.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the affidavit, the DEA responded to A+ Pharmacy on Highway 58 on April 6, 2026, following reports of illegal activity.<\/p>\n

The document identifies the suspect as owner and pharmacist Nader Rahbe. Investigators say Rahbe initially denied the allegations but later admitted to distributing prescription drugs and engaging in sexual encounters inside the pharmacy. Authorities say video evidence reviewed during the investigation appears to show multiple instances involving different women.<\/p>\n

Investigators say that Schedule II and IV controlled substances, along with other prescription medications, were at times exchanged for sexual acts. Rahbe told agents the women involved were patients with insurance, but also admitted he sometimes waived co-payments. The affidavit notes that in many cases, the women did not appear to provide any form of payment for the medications.<\/p>\n

Rahbe is charged with the distribution of schedule 4 controlled substances along with legend drugs.<\/p>\n

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges are expected. The DEA says A+ Pharmacy will remain closed as the case continues.<\/p>\n

PREVIOUS STORY:<\/strong> The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has suspended a Chattanooga pharmacy\u2019s authority to handle controlled substances.<\/p>\n

On Monday, April 6, the DEA issued an Immediate Suspension Order (ISO) to A+ Pharmacy, which is located on Highway 58 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.<\/p>\n

An ISO is issued when there is an imminent danger to public health or safety, according to the DEA.<\/p>\n

A joint investigation by the DEA and the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy has been taking place in recent months.<\/p>\n

The DEA said this investigation revealed compliance discrepancies and violations of the Controlled Substances Act<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat we\u2019ve uncovered in this investigation is nothing short of egregious,\u201d said Special Agent in Charge Jim Scott.<\/p>\n

A+ Pharmacy can no longer handle controlled substances of any kind while the ISO is in effect.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe details of this case are disturbing and go well beyond regulatory infractions.\u00a0When the allegations are made public, the community will be stunned,\u201d Scott added.<\/p>\n
