Singer Sabrina Carpenter<\/a><\/strong> is known for her breathy, buttery sweet voice, wonderfully witty lyrics, and her signature, always-blonde tresses. That’s why fans may be shocked to see the pop singer’s drastic hair color change for a shoot in Perfect magazine. She’s giving us a short and sassy jet black hairdo, followed by a stick straight style with Bettie Paige <\/strong>bangs.<\/p>\n

This dramatic hair transformation is definitely not a bad look for the “Please Please Please” singer (she can apparently pull off whatever she wants), but it’s certainly not the Sabrina fans know and love. But maybe that’s the point. Maybe sometimes the singer, like any other living, breathing human, wants to try on something new and different\u2014whether it’s sexy western wear, goth black nails, or a brand new hair color!<\/p>\n

Of course, when being blonde is your whole celebrity vibe and persona\u2014think Dolly Parton<\/a><\/strong>, Madonna<\/a><\/strong>, Gwen Stefani<\/a><\/strong>\u2014can you get away with changing it? And if so, for how long?<\/p>\n

I mean, here’s probably a 99.9% chance that these are both jet black wigs, so everything is fine and right with the world of Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>, pop star. But still, these are questions worth considering. Does the pop star have to stay blonde forever?<\/p>\n

You’ll definitely do a double take, as the “Espresso” singer is barely recognizable with jet black hair. But wow, this dark hair color sure does make her light blue-green eyes pop!<\/p>\n
