\n\tLady Gaga<\/a> has postponed her show in Miami<\/a> tonight, citing an \u201cextremely strained\u201d voice and recommendations from both her doctor and vocal coach to rest.<\/p>\n \n\tThe star called off the show just before it was set to kick off in Kaseya Center as thousands gathered to see Gaga perform. \u201cI am really so so sorry but I need to postpone tonight\u2019s show in Miami,\u201d wrote Gaga in her statement shared to Instagram Stories. \u201cDuring rehearsal last night and my vocal warmup tonight my voice was extremely strained and both my Dr and vocal coach have advised me not to go on because of the risk it poses.\u201d The singer said that while she wants to\u201d be hardcore and just push through this for you,\u201d she doesn\u2019t \u201cwant to risk long term or permanent damage on my vocal cords.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tShe reminded fans that she sings live every night and that there is \u201ca significant risk based on all our combined experience with a show like ours.\u201d Gaga said that while it was \u201ca hard and agonizing decision,\u201d she would be \u201cmore afraid of the long term implications on my voice.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\tGaga continued, \u201cI hope you can forgive me and accept my sincerest apologies for any disappointment, let down, inconvenience I am so so sorry I tried so hard to avoid this I take serious care of myself to be able to put on this highly demanding show. It\u2019s currently unclear if additional appearances will be affected.
