{"id":43175,"date":"2025-09-04T13:40:13","date_gmt":"2025-09-04T13:40:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/43175\/"},"modified":"2025-09-04T13:40:13","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T13:40:13","slug":"ryanair-increases-free-carry-on-bag-size-by-33-across-all-european-airports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/43175\/","title":{"rendered":"Ryanair increases free carry-on bag size by 33% across all European airports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ryanair has completed the rollout of its bigger carry-on bag sizers at its 235 airports across Europe, the airline announced on Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From September 4, all Ryanair passengers can now bring a bigger, free personal bag up to 40 x 30 x 20cm, which is 33% bigger than the EU standard free carry-on bag of 40 x 30 x 15 cm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Ryanair allows each passenger to bring 1 free carry-on bag on board, but these bags must be capable of fitting under each passenger\u2019s seat. Should passengers wish to bring an extra carry-on bag, they can do so by purchasing Ryanair\u2019s Priority Boarding service, the airline said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Spaking on the change, Ryanair\u2019s CMO, Dara Brady said: \u201cFrom today. Ryanair\u2019s new, bigger free carry-on bag is now 33% larger than the EU standard.
