{"id":435584,"date":"2026-04-15T01:54:14","date_gmt":"2026-04-15T01:54:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/435584\/"},"modified":"2026-04-15T01:54:14","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T01:54:14","slug":"sean-bakers-next-film-ti-amo-lands-at-warner-bros","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/435584\/","title":{"rendered":"Sean Baker&#8217;s Next Film &#8216;Ti Amo&#8217; Lands at Warner Bros"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/t\/sean-baker\/\" id=\"auto-tag_sean-baker\" data-tag=\"sean-baker\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sean Baker<\/a> has a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/t\/film\/\" id=\"auto-tag_film\" data-tag=\"film\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">film<\/a> hitting theaters next year called \u201cTi Amo!,\u201d and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/t\/warner-bros-2\/\" id=\"auto-tag_warner-bros-2\" data-tag=\"warner-bros-2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Warner Bros<\/a>. will release it under what is the first title as part of its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/features\/general\/sundance-2026-sales-market-analysis-warner-bros-1235173142\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1235173142\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">new specialized label, now named Clockwork.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy announced the news at the start of the studio\u2019s CinemaCon presentation on Tuesday, April 14, and though there was no other information revealed out of the gate, they said it will hit theaters in 2027, when the studio is hoping to deliver 18 movies as part of its slate.<\/p>\n<p>Baker will write, direct, edit, cast, and produce \u201cTi Amo!\u201d while re-teaming with \u201cAnora\u201d producers Alex Coco and Samantha Quan. The team\u2019s production companies, Cre Film and Rapt Film, are producing and the film is financed by FilmNation Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/news\/trailers\/godzilla-minus-zero-teaser-statue-of-liberty-1235188929\/\" title=\"\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-card-index=\"0\" data-post-id=\"1235188929\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/0410re\uff3fG-0.0_FirstTSR_46s_HD_23976p_APR422HQ.00_00_41_08.Still008.jpg\" alt=\"'Godzilla Minus Zero'\" height=\"168\" width=\"300\"   loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"auto\" data-attachment-id=\"1235189092\" data-wp-size=\"nova_size__sixteenbynine_small_cropped\"\/><\/a>  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/features\/interviews\/lee-cronin-the-mummy-interview-1235188953\/\" title=\"\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-card-index=\"1\" data-post-id=\"1235188953\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Unknown-1.png\" alt=\"Lee Cronin\" height=\"168\" width=\"300\"   loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"auto\" data-attachment-id=\"1235189082\" data-wp-size=\"nova_size__sixteenbynine_small_cropped\"\/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>The film is Baker\u2019s follow-up to his Best Picture-winning film \u201cAnora,\u201d and it\u2019s a huge swing from the new label that is led by former Neon executives, which released \u201cAnora.\u201d Clockwork is led by Christian Parkes, and the label aims to produce \u201csocially relevant, provocative, and culturally resonant cinema for audiences globally,\u201d per a release. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSean Baker is an artist who embodies everything we believe in at Clockwork, and \u2018TI AMO!\u2019 will be another gift to Cinema. Plus, his poster game is on point,\u201d said Parkes.<\/p>\n<p>The deal was negotiated by Warner Bros. Clockwork\u2019s Head of Production &amp; Acquisition Jason Wald, Warner Bros. EVP of Business Affairs Erik Elner, with attorney Jamie Feldman on behalf of the filmmakers and Laine Kline on behalf of FilmNation Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/news\/breaking-news\/anora-oscars-2025-sweep-sean-baker-mikey-madison-winners-room-1235100534\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1235100534\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cAnora\u201d made Oscar history<\/a>, winning four Academy Awards for Best Director, Best Writer, Best Editing, and Best Picture. The film made $57.3 million globally at the box office. <\/p>\n<p>Warner Bros. led off its CinemaCon slate with the Sean Baker news, right after taking a victory lap in honor of <a data-id=\"1235183033\" data-type=\"post\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/awards\/results\/one-battle-after-another-wins-oscar-best-picture-1235183033\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cOne Battle After Another\u201d winning Best Picture<\/a> and \u201cSinners\u201d receiving the most Oscar nominations in history.
