Tottenham Hotspur have announced that Daniel Levy has \u2018stepped down\u2019 from his role as the Executive Chairman of the Premier League giants.<\/p>\n
Levy<\/strong> <\/a>has spent 25 years at the Premier League outfit and has a mixed reputation among supporters, though Spurs have insisted in the announcement on their club website<\/a> that he has helped to \u2018transform them over the last quarter of a century\u2019.<\/p>\n It is also indicated that Levy\u2019s exit has been in the pipeline for a while, with Tottenham<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s \u2018succession plan\u2019 seeing \u2018a number of senior appointments in recent months\u2019.<\/p>\n Following the arrivals of Thomas Frank to replace former head coach Ange Postecoglou and the hiring of ex-Arsenal chief Vinai Venkatesham as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the club have revealed that\u00a0Peter Charrington has replaced Levy by \u2018stepping into the newly created role of Non-Executive Chairman\u2019.<\/p>\n READ:\u00a0F365\u2019s 2025\/26 season predictions revised post transfer window<\/a> Commenting on his exit from Spurs, Levy did not reveal why he has decided to step away, but admitted that it \u201chasn\u2019t always been an easy journey\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cI am incredibly proud of the work I have done together with the executive team and all our employees,\u201d Levy said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have built this club into a global heavyweight competing at the highest level.
