\n\tLandman<\/a> made an explosive debut when it released its first season in late 2024 into early 2025 to became a ratings boon and mega-hit for Paramount+<\/a>. The first season of the Big Oil drama from Yellowstone<\/a> co-creator and prolific hitmaker Taylor Sheridan<\/a> introduced viewers to Tommy Norris, the West Texas oil fixer played by Billy Bob Thornton<\/a>, and his fiery family played by Ali Larter<\/a>, Michelle Randolph<\/a> and Jacob Lofland<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter killing off Jon Hamm\u2019s oil tycoon Monty Miller<\/a>, the season one finale set up Tommy to take over his late boss\u2019 oil company alongside Monty\u2019s wife, Cami, played by Demi Moore<\/a>. Landman\u2019s co-creator Christian Wallace had teased that the ending set up Moore for a larger role in season two, and now the teaser trailer released on Thursday confirms that. <\/p>\n

\n\tNot only does the first look at season two (below) bring more of a Moore presence \u2014 \u201cThe only difference between me and my husband is I\u2019m meaner,\u201d Cami tells a room full of potential investors \u2014 but the new season also pits Tommy and Cami against in each other in their new partnership. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cShe owns the company, but I run it,\u201d Tommy declares, as violence once again rears its head, both on and off the oil fields. Tommy\u2019s newly reconciled wife Angela (Larter) and college-bound daughter Ainsley (Randolph) <\/a>make flashy appearances, and the trailer also introduces new castmember Sam Elliot<\/a>, who returns to the Sheridan-verse after starring in Yellowstone prequel 1883<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen speaking recently to The Hollywood Reporter, Larter had teased that the highly anticipated second season would be a rollercoaster after the dramatic\u00a0cliffhanger finale<\/a>\u00a0around Tommy\u2019s oil business future. \u201cYou hold the heart of the show being the family, and then you have all these other storylines. It\u2019s game on,\u201d she said of Tommy\u2019s new life pressures, which include a partnership with a local cartel <\/a>led by Andy Garcia\u2019s character. \u201cThe beauty of their marriage is that you get to see so much humanity in Tommy because of how he is with Angela.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPaulina Ch\u00e1vez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore also round out the cast.<\/p>\n
