{"id":44010,"date":"2025-09-04T21:49:18","date_gmt":"2025-09-04T21:49:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/44010\/"},"modified":"2025-09-04T21:49:18","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T21:49:18","slug":"fis-neural-treasury-aims-to-bolster-corporate-nerve-centers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/44010\/","title":{"rendered":"FIS \u2018Neural Treasury\u2019 Aims to Bolster Corporate Nerve Centers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Financial technology company\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fisglobal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">FIS<\/a>\u00a0has introduced an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered treasury management solution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FIS Neural Treasury combines AI, machine learning and robotics to help corporate treasurers increase efficiency, reduce operational risk and unlock cash flow to finance strategic growth opportunities according to a Thursday (Sept. 4)\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fisglobal.com\/about-us\/media-room\/press-release\/2025\/fis-builds-on-awards-momentum-for-treasury-solutions-by-launching-ai-powered-neural-treasury-suite\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">news release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAmidst rapid technological change, rising capital costs and market volatility, corporate treasurers need improved visibility into their global liquidity positions, more intelligent risk management capabilities and the ability to scale operations without proportionally increasing costs,\u201d FIS said in the release.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Neural Treasury, the release adds, helps address these needs with things like\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/news\/artificial-intelligence\/2025\/fis-introduces-treasury-gpt-in-conjunction-with-microsoft-ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Treasury GPT<\/a>, an FIS tool rolled out in March that the company says is the first large language model (LLM) designed specifically for the treasury industry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new suite can also analyze data and cash flow patterns to help predict cash flows and \u201csupport more precise and proactive liquidity management,\u201d while also monitoring transaction patterns to detect\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/fraud-prevention\/2024\/new-ai-system-aims-to-detect-financial-fraud-across-corporate-networks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">potential fraud<\/a>\u00a0and adapt to improve detection capabilities over time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cCorporate treasury departments are the financial nerve center of their organizations, but they\u2019re too often constrained by legacy systems that struggle to meet the needs and pace of today\u2019s increasingly complex financial landscape,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jjames3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">JP James<\/a>, head of treasury and risk at FIS, said in the announcement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cNeural Treasury is designed to harness the power of AI to help corporate treasurers to act as strategic leaders and support their efforts to optimize important processes like cash positioning, forecasting, payment execution, risk management and more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PYMNTS earlier this week wrote about the role AI can play in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/news\/b2b-payments\/2025\/agentic-ai-puts-a-face-on-corporate-treasurys-next-leap\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">helping treasurers<\/a>, noting that the role of the treasurer changed after major upheavals like the 2008 financial crisis, and again during the COVID pandemic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThese historic crucibles have elevated treasury\u2019s strategic importance. Boards now expect treasurers to provide real-time insight, not just static reports,\u201d PYMNTS wrote.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBut human teams are limited: even a well-staffed treasury department cannot scan thousands of market signals, liquidity positions and geopolitical shifts in real time without help. Spreadsheets and enterprise systems only go so far.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enter the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/tag\/agentic-ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">agentic AI<\/a>\u00a0treasurer, which \u2014 rather than functioning as silent engines behind a dashboard \u2014 can appear as interactive, explainable agents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThey can tell a CFO why a swap was executed, walk through alternative scenarios, and even adjust tone and detail depending on the audience, whether it\u2019s a risk committee or a junior analyst,\u201d the report added. \u201cThe once-invisible treasury function suddenly becomes a visible, conversational partner.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Financial technology company\u00a0FIS\u00a0has introduced an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered treasury management solution.
