\n\tAfter losing the top spot for a week, KPop Demon Hunters is back at No. 1 with hit single \u201cGolden\u201d (Aug. 15).<\/p>\n

\n\tThe song from the Netflix musical first hit the top spot<\/a> a fortnight ago, becoming the first K-pop No. 1 single in the U.K. for over 13 years. PSY\u2019s \u201cGangnam Style\u201d was the last song to achieve the feat prior to that in 2012.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tChappell Roan debuted<\/a> at No. 1 with her comeback single \u201cThe Subway\u201d and claimed the crown from the animated group HUNTR\/X<\/a>, which is sung by EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tBut after a week away from the top, \u201cGolden\u201d has returned to the top spot with a massive weak on streaming. The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack has now secured the most U.K. album streams in a week for a soundtrack ever (18,631 streaming-equivalent sales), toppling a record held by the Barbie soundtrack in 2023 (17,681). Two additional songs from the soundtrack \u201cSoda Pop\u201d (No. 6) and \u201cYour Idol\u201d (No. 7), both by animated boyband Saja Boys, land in the top 10. <\/p>\n

\n\tRoan\u2019s \u201cThe Subway\u201d falls just one spot to No. 2 as the U.S. star tours a number of European festivals throughout August. She\u2019ll head to the U.K.\u2019s Reading & Leeds Festival <\/a>next weekend (Aug. 22) for her debut headline performance at the iconic festival.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tDisco Lines and Tinashe\u2019s \u201cNo Broke Boys\u201d climbs two spots to reach a new peak (No. 3). The song first featured on Tinashe\u2019s 2024 LP Quantum Baby before its remix by the rising EDM producer.<\/p>\n

\n\tMK and Chrystal\u2019s \u201cDior,\u201d which spent two weeks at the summit earlier this summer, finishes the week at No. 4, while Justin Bieber\u2019s \u201cDaisies\u201d holds steady at No. 5.<\/p>\n
