Worldwide, it ranked behind only the United Kingdom and Hungary.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The report said there has been a shift in the nature of deals, with companies now favouring smaller projects linked to Brazil\u2019s industrial policy and the global energy transition, rather than the mega acquisitions that once defined Chinese investment.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Tulio Cariello, the council\u2019s research director, said Brazil\u2019s attraction lies in the scale and variety of sectors open to Chinese money.
