Praised for its traveller-friendly complication, resilient yet slim case construction, fun, fresh colours and in-house movement, another winning factor was its accessible price. For 2026, Nomos tones down the colour scheme of its Worldtimer and proposes a serene silvery-white version with well-dosed touches of colour. Offering better contrast without resorting to loud colours, the radiant white dial might well be the best-looking option yet.

Perhaps the most useful complication for globetrotters, a world timer offers an overview of the time around the world. Although this model is closer in spirit to an advanced GMT with a city ring, it is one of the most intuitive, practical and user-friendly travelling companions on the market today. With local and home time clearly displayed, you can also calculate the time in 24 other destinations using the city ring and the time offset.

As in earlier editions, the polished 40.5mm stainless steel case has a slim height of 9.9mm and a slim bezel, allowing the dial to take centre stage. The large, fluted screw-down crown ensures 100m water-resistance and is fitted with a practical red warning ring around the stem to alert the user if the crown has not been fully screwed down. Highlighting its user-friendliness, the pusher at 2 o’clock advances the city ring and the central hour hand in tandem to set local time. Local time is displayed via the central hands, and home time is indicated on the slightly recessed 24-hour sub-dial at 3 o’clock with day/night indication.

In a departure from the louder, livelier colour combinations of the limited editions, the new white Worldtimer joins the other two models in the regular collection. Sitting alongside the blue and silver sunburst dial references, this Worldtimer has a calming, white, matte, silver-plated dial with an even more restrained yet well-administered allowance of colour.

The white sub-dial indicates home or reference time with graphic clarity, highlighted by a red-and-blue ring and a 24-hour scale. The red section of the ring corresponds to nighttime hours and the blue to daytime, a useful day/night function for globetrotters. The 24 airport codes (IATA) on the city ring are printed on a white ring below the central dial and are advanced with the pusher at 2 o’clock. Once the city has been selected, a red bar appears beneath the IATA code at noon, and the time around the world can be consulted on the fixed minutes track using the + and – values highlighted in red. If, like me, you had to look up airport codes like FEN and PPG, this watch will also provide you with invaluable trivia.

The recessed sub-dial at 6 o’clock for the small seconds is also white with a rhodium-plated hand. The pencil-shaped hour and minute hands, as well as the grey Arabic numerals and indices, are treated with blue-emission Super-LumiNova.

The watch is powered by the Nomos calibre DUW 3202 – based on the Neomatik architecture – an automatic movement with a fully integrated world time complication. With a thickness of just 4.8mm, the movement has an in-house escapement and hairspring, a somewhat modest 42-hour power reserve and a stop-seconds mechanism. A fun detail on the caseback is the small whale, indicating the case’s water resistance.

The watch is paired with a 3-link stainless steel bracelet with polished centre links and satin-brushed outer links. Unlike the brightly polished case, the brushed finish on the outer links is a sensible idea to avoid the inevitable scratches of everyday life. The new Nomos Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer Radiant White retails for EUR 4,260 (alternatively, it can be ordered with a grey textile strap for EUR 4,080).
