Haylie Duff and her fianc\u00e9 of 12 years, Matthew Rosenberg, have broken up, her rep confirmed\u00a0on Monday. The former couple \u2014 who share two daughters, ages 7 and 10 \u2014 \u201cended their relationship around the first of the year,\u201d her rep said. \u201cShe asks for privacy at this time in protection of her young daughters.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rosenberg, the founder of the T-shirt company Subway Tile Shirts, got engaged to Duff on April Fools\u2019 Day 2014 after a year and a half of dating. In December 2014, she said they\u2019d put wedding planning on hold<\/a> after getting pregnant with their first child. In 2018, shortly before the birth of their second child, Duff told People<\/a> they might get married \u201cafter the craziness of a new baby dies down.\u201d \u201cWe talk about it and think, \u2018Maybe now we\u2019re ready to do it\u2019 and then life happens and toddler happens,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n
