This amount will not be a permanent price increase, but rather a deposit that consumers will recover when they return the empty container to participating stores or machines.<\/p>\n<p>It will apply to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.majorcadailybulletin.com\/tag\/Plastic.html?utm_source=Inline-tag&amp;utm_medium=internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">plastic<\/a> bottles, cans, and <strong>cartons up to three litres, including common products such as water, soft drinks, beer, and juices.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The regulation comes after it was determined that the recycling targets set for 2023 have not been met. In light of this situation, the legislation requires the implementation of a more effective system within two years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The goal is to significantly increase container collection and reduce the environmental impact,<\/strong> particularly regarding plastic waste.
