What a relief. As Joel\u2019s relationship with Juliette crashed and burned, he\u2019s shared which bride he wishes the MAFS experts had matched him with instead. His response was super unexpected.<\/p>\n<p>Joel participated in a question and answer session with <a href=\"https:\/\/thetab.com\/tag\/mafs\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MAFS Australia<\/a> fans on R<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/MAFS_AU\/comments\/1spq559\/joel_from_mafs_ama\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">eddit.<\/a> Several viewers asked him if there was another bride among the 2026 cast who he would have liked to be married to. In three separate threads, Joel said he\u2019s have picked Bec. He also ranked Bec as his second-favourite MAFS 2026 participant (behind Steven).<\/p>\n<p>I never would have guessed this. We hadn\u2019t really seen Joel and Bec interact much on MAFS. He wrote: \u201cShe\u2019s the realest there is. She ain\u2019t hiding, what you see is what you get.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, Bec and Joel shared a sweet moment during the fifth commitment ceremony. He wrote: \u201cBec came to console me after Juliette stormed off the show, which wasn\u2019t shown.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Joel also shared that out of the whole MAFS Australia cast, he would have wanted to be matched with <a href=\"https:\/\/thetab.com\/2023\/06\/12\/most-iconic-mafs-australia-2023-cast-member-revealed\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Evelyn Ellis<\/a> from the 2023 season. This might not work out, as <a href=\"https:\/\/thetab.com\/2024\/06\/06\/holidays-and-date-nights-inside-evelyn-and-duncans-adorable-life-together-after-mafs\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Evelyn is still in a relationship with Duncan<\/a> from her series.<\/p>\n<p>Well, I suppose Bec and Joel could bond over their <a href=\"https:\/\/thetab.com\/2026\/04\/10\/joel-keeps-throwing-shade-at-juliette-and-mafs-australia-viewers-on-reddit-and-im-dying\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">mutual loathing of Juliette<\/a>? Bec did use <a href=\"https:\/\/thetab.com\/2026\/04\/15\/the-real-reason-mafs-australias-rachel-was-so-upset-about-becs-gross-retreat-comment\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the word \u201cfingerb*ng<\/a>\u201c, and Joel spends his spare time drumming with dildos. So, perhaps they\u2019d laugh at each other\u2019s bawdier jokes without causing scandals?
