\n\tGirls Trip star Tiffany Haddish<\/a> has signed on to star opposite Isla Fisher<\/a> (Tag, Wedding Crashers) in Double Crossed, a high-concept action-comedy being shopped to buyers at the Toronto International Film Festival<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tHaddish and Fisher play Niki and Lara, two women with polar-opposite personalities who discover, at their husband\u2019s funeral, that they were married to the same man. As secrets from his life emerge, the unlikely duo embark on a perilous road trip to uncover the dangerous truth about the man they thought they both knew.<\/p>\n

\n\tKestrin Pantera (Pretty Problems) is set to direct the film from a script by Shelby Enlow. Zero Gravity will produce the feature together with Jeffrey Greenstein\u2019s A Higher Standard, with A Higher Standard handling worldwide sales at TIFF. Principal photography is set to begin in the first quarter of next year.<\/p>\n

\n\tZero Gravity\u2019s Mark Williams and Allie Loh with Orien Richman will produce alongside Greenstein, with Thayer Juergens executive producing and Rebecca Raichek overseeing development on behalf of A Higher Standard.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI couldn\u2019t be more excited about this film, this incredible team, and my first collaboration with Zero Gravity on what promises to be a fun-filled ride,\u201d said Greenstein.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe combination of humor and explosions, what could be better,\u201d added Williams.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cThe script is very funny, our actors are very funny, now all we need is lighter fluid.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHaddish was last seen on the big screen in Bad Boys: Ride or Die<\/a>, and has several features in the pipeline, including Matt Sukkar\u2019s action thriller The Deputy alongside William H. Macy, and Lil Rel Howery\u2019s feature Haunted Heist. Fisher was last seen in Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, and in Netflix\u2019s George Clooney-starrer Jay Kelly<\/a>, which celebrated its world premiere<\/a> at the Venice film festival last week before heading to Telluride.<\/p>\n

\n\tA Higher Standard\u2019s upcoming slate includes the action comedy Playdate with Alan Ritchson and Kevin James, and the Kevin James-led romantic comedy\u00a0Solo Mio. <\/p>\n

\n\tHaddish is repped by UTA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole. Fisher is repped by UTA, and Sloane, Offer, Webber & Dern.
