Donegal has benefited to the tune of millions of euro in IFI grants in recent decades.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Walsh was speaking during a recent visit to the border region where he met with representatives of IFI-supported projects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe progress we&#8217;ve seen in Northern Ireland over the past decades is remarkable,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProgrammes supported by the International Fund for Ireland demonstrate how sustained commitment to peace and reconciliation can deliver real and lasting change in people\u2019s lives.
