\n\tIs Ryan Reynolds<\/a> returning as Deadpool<\/a> in \u201cAvengers: Doomsday<\/a>\u201d or not? It\u2019s a question the actor himself ignited online after he posted on social media in August a photo of a spray-painted \u201cA\u201d on top of the classic Avengers logo. Marvel fans went into a frenzy. Then rumors hit<\/a> that Reynolds and Robert Downey Jr., who is making his grand Marvel return in \u201cDoomsday\u201d as the villainous Doctor Doom, were feuding on set.<\/p>\n

\n\tNot so fast. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, <\/a>Reynolds claimed he has not even stepped foot on the \u201cAvengers: Doomsday\u201d set. The actor was promoting the documentary \u201cJohn Candy: I Like Me,\u201d in which he is a producer. The doc reveals Reynolds sprinkled Easter eggs about Candy into \u201cDeadpool,\u201d \u201cDeadpool 2\u201d and \u201cDeadpool and Wolverine.\u201d When asked if he\u2019s doing the same in \u201cAvengers: Endgame,\u201d Reynolds laughed off the question.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere\u2019s four that I\u2019ve got in there,\u201d Reynolds joked. \u201cOf course, I\u2019ve written them all at home in my PJs, and nobody\u2019s seen \u2019em nor have I stepped foot on set. But, yeah, that\u2019s about as far as I\u2019ll go on that one.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tReynolds\u2019 Deadpool entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe in last summer\u2019s smash hit \u201cDeadpool and Wolverine,\u201d which earned $1.3 billion at the worldwide box office to become the highest grossing R-rated movie in history. The movie marked the surprise debut of Channing Tatum as Gambit, who is returning for \u201cAvengers: Doomsday.\u201d Some fans thought that (plus Reynolds\u2019 social media post) meant Deadpool would be a given to join the superhero mash-up, but Reynolds isn\u2019t letting anything slip for now.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe rumors of an alleged feud between Downey and Reynolds were quickly squashed by outlets like People magazine<\/a>, with one source telling the publication there is \u201czero bad blood\u201d between the A-list actors. Another insider noted the \u201cthe two have never met in person,\u201d which would seemingly verify Reynolds\u2019 claim that he not been on the \u201cDoomsday\u201d set yet.\u00a0<\/p>\n
