\"When Irrfan Khan<\/a> remains one of the most respected names in cinema and he worked across Indian, British, and American films. His career lasted over three decades and has also received numerous awards and critical acclaim. His passing has left a huge void in cinema. Just four days before his death, his mother Saeeda Begum passed away in Jaipur at the age of 93.<\/p>\n

Babil Khan\u2019s emotional throwback album<\/p>\n

Earlier in 2024, Babil Khan shared a heartfelt throwback album and the post captured intimate family memories. It quickly drew attention online, as seen in the first image featured his parents, Irrfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar, from their younger days. The next slide showed Babil during his university years at the University of Westminster in London. In that moment, Babil was behind the camera. His batchmate Louis Eddy assisted him. The album also included a still of Irrfan from his shooting days. Another image showed Babil\u2019s childhood passport.<\/p>\n

Babil Khan’s heartfelt note that touched many<\/p>\n

Along with the album, Babil wrote an emotional note for his father. He expressed his longing and acceptance and wrote, \u201cI’m gonna miss you, you know? Standing under my umbrella. I’m going to miss you too, but I guess it’s time to dance in the rain now.\u201dActor Siddhanth Kapoor<\/a> reacted to the post. He commented, \u201cYour dad be very proud of you, bro.\u201dBabil has often shared his feelings about his father. In another earlier note, he opened up about their bond. He wrote, \u201cNobody knew him like I did, nobody has known me like he did. It’s easy to say, to miss him, it’s easy. It’s easy to be cathartic and cry about losing him. It’s easy. Do you know what is hard? To remember the ecstasy in his voice when he would raise it in exaltation to scream \u201cBABILUUUU!!!\u201d every single time he’d see me. To remember then, how painful it would be to lose him for the stretches of barren time when he would be away shooting.\u201dBabil further shared deeply personal memories. He wrote, \u201cIt is impossible to bear the memory of how his beard felt on my fingers when I would scratch his cheek as he read his script or how my finger tips would rest gently on his eye lids when he took a nap. His voice, was brilliantly deep, yet it evoked nothing but a gentle prayer from me, a prayer that could only rise from one’s within when an external force has calmed your existential jitters to stillness. I wish I could have one last dance with you.\u201dOn the work front, Babil Khan was last seen in ‘Logout’. <\/p>\n
