\n\tPinkPantheress<\/a> radically reimagined her own songs and stuffed a full band into a cubicle for her Tiny Desk Concert, which NPR Music shared Friday.<\/p>\n \n\tThe British singer managed to cram eight tracks (and six band members) into the space of 23 minutes, delivering unique spins on tracks like \u201cPain,\u201d \u201cIllegal,\u201d and \u201cGirl Like Me.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cSo these are obviously very different renditions from the originals of the songs I have,\u201d PinkPantheress said before shouting out her backing band, which helped breathe new life into the tracks with their live instrumentation. \u201cThese songs sound so sick in this way.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\tThe Tiny Desk concert boasted three tracks \u2014 \u201cGirl Like Me,\u201d \u201cIllegal,\u201d and the closing \u201cTonight\u201d \u2014 from PinkPantheress\u2019 recent mixtape Fancy That<\/a>, which was named one of Rolling Stone\u2019s Best Albums of 2025 So Far<\/a>. The gig also gave fans a preview of the singer\u2019s upcoming An Evening With PinkPantheress tour<\/a> that kicks off next month in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n \n\tThe NPR Music gig and the upcoming shows mark a return to the road for PinkPantheress, who previously canceled\u00a0all of her scheduled 2024 appearances last year. \u201cI was full up. There was something that I needed to address, and so I had to leave,\u201d the musician told\u00a0Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1<\/a>\u00a0earlier this year. \u201cAnd I did that for my own good. And obviously it was a very sad moment for people that wanted to see me but couldn\u2019t see me.
