Jennifer Garner<\/a> is planning a weekend away with pals in the first trailer for The Five Star Weekend<\/a>.<\/p>\n In the preview of the upcoming Peacock series, an adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand<\/a>\u2019s 2023 book of the same name, Garner, 54, takes the lead as Hollis. The grieving widow is on a journey to heal with the help of her closest friends, Dru-Ann (Regina Hall<\/a>), Tatum (Chlo\u00eb Sevigny<\/a>), Gigi (Gemma Chan<\/a>) and Brooke (D\u2019Arcy Carden<\/a>).<\/p>\n Hollis, the “famed cook and best-selling author,” suffers a devastating loss before she “gets the idea to host a weekend away at her house on Nantucket with three friends from different stages in her life: her childhood, her twenties, thirties, and one surprise fifth star,\u201d per the show’s official logline.<\/p>\n \u201cSet against a luxurious and coastal backdrop, the stars will mature in ways they could never imagine as boundaries are pushed and secrets are exposed,” the logline reads.<\/p>\n The teaser begins with Garner\u2019s Hollis declaring that \u201cthis weekend is for the five of us \u2014 a weekend of five-star treatment.\u201d At dinner, Hollis says that she \u201ccan\u2019t believe\u201d they are all together and admits, \u201cI think I\u2019m still in shock.\u201d<\/p>\n Jennifer Garner, Regina Hall, Gemma Chan and Chlo\u00eb Sevigny in ‘The Five Star Weekend’ When Tatum asks if she\u2019s doing alright, however, Hollis deflects by going to get the whipped cream she claims she forgot to bring to the table. \u201cShe’s definitely not okay,\u201d Brooke tells the others.<\/p>\n \u201cNope,\u201d Dru-Ann says before Tatum quips, \u201cThis weekend’s gonna be a hoot.\u201d<\/p>\n As Hollis embarks on a new chapter in her life in the clip, she acknowledges that she doesn’t know “who I am” since her late husband Matthew died. \u201cYou know what I heard works for pain?
