The Last Dinner Party<\/a> marked their two-show run at New York City\u2019s Hammerstein Ballroom with a cover of LCD Soundsystem\u2019s<\/a> \u2018New York, I Love You But You\u2019re Bringing Me Down\u2019.<\/p>\n

The 2007 classic came as the first of a three-song encore from the English rock outfit, witnessed by the Hammerstein crowd on Saturday (April 25). You can catch footage of the performance, as well as the full setlist below.<\/p>\n

The band opened with \u2018Agnus Dei\u2019 and \u2018Count The Ways\u2019, the first two tracks from their recently released album \u2018From The Pyre\u2019, with the set consisting of a mixture of tunes from that release and their 2024 debut, \u2018Prelude To Ecstasy\u2019. Surprises came in the form of unreleased songs \u2018Big Dog\u2019 and \u2018Knocking At The Sky\u2019, before they ended the main set with their 2023 debut single \u2018Nothing Matters\u2019.<\/p>\n

As well as the LCD Soundsystem cover, The Last Dinner Party\u2019s three-song encore featured \u2018From The Pyre\u2019 single \u2018This Is the Killer Speaking\u2019, and an \u2018Agnus Dei\u2019 reprise.<\/p>\n

In NME\u2019s four-star review<\/a>, \u2018From The Pyre\u2019 was described as \u201ca darker, more accomplished return\u201d. Rhian Daly continued that the album was \u201cstill as deliciously dramatic as \u2018Prelude To Ecstasy\u2019, fleshing out their world more and more with daring, dashing songs of true depth.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recently, The Last Dinner Party joined Glass Animals, John Lennon and more as names taking part in 2026\u2019s Secret 7\u2033 vinyl record auction in aid of the charity War Child.<\/a><\/p>\n
