\n\tRick Ross <\/a>and French Montana<\/a> have collided on a handful of tracks as rap titans of the 2010s, but now they\u2019ll be foes on the Verzuz<\/a> stage. <\/p>\n

\n\tRozay and the Bronx native are slated to clash for a Verzuz battle<\/a> on May 7, according to Complex.<\/a> It\u2019s all going down at the Apple Music Studios in Los Angeles, as the match-up will stream live on Apple Music starting at 9:30 p.m. ET. <\/p>\n

\n\tRick Ross already touched the Verzuz stage when he faced off against 2 Chainz<\/a> in August 2020, which saw Billboard\u2018s scorecard<\/a> give the Biggest Boss a slight edge and the victory. Next month\u2019s battle will mark French\u2019s first time as a headliner in a Verzuz battle. <\/p>\n

\n\tRozay and French Montana have joined forces for plenty of hits over the years, so it will be interesting to see who takes ownership of anthems like \u201cStay Schemin,\u201d \u201cPop That\u201d and \u201cMarble Floors\u201d in the battle. They\u2019ve also teamed up on tracks such as Rozay\u2019s \u201cNobody\u201d and \u201cMinks in Miami,\u201d the latter of which arrived in March.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis will be Rick Ross easiest win ever,\u201d former Hot 97 producer Scottie Beam declared. Tyrese<\/a>, who faced off against Tank<\/a> in a March Verzuz battle, is also backing Ross. \u201cLet\u2019s goooooo!!!!!!!!! I promise I Love French\u2026.Rick Ross got this one,\u201d he wrote in Complex\u2018s<\/a> comment section.<\/p>\n

\n\tA fan on X<\/a> joked that this could turn into a Drake <\/a>concert with both artists boasting potent Drizzy collaborations. \u201cThis is gonna be a battle of who got the best Drake features,\u201d they wrote. <\/p>\n
